Welcome

I was born and raised mainly in Hibbing, MN.  I graduated from high school in 1987.   My undergraduate degree is in elementary and special education from Augustana College.  I also earned my masters in education from Augie.  I am in my 14th year of teaching at Brandon Valley High School.  I am proud to say that I am a Nationally Board Certified teacher.

Some of my hobbies include reading, scrap booking, shopping,  running, and traveling. I love attending my children's activities and sporting events.  I am a Green Bay Packers fan.

My husband Joe and I have been married for 20 years. He is an air traffic controller at the airport in Sioux Falls.  Joe loves to hunt and fish. He also loves airplanes.

I am lucky enough to have two amazing boys.  Riley is 16 years old and is in 11th grade.  He is a huge sports fan. He not only loves watching any and all sports, he also plays football,  basketball and is in track. Riley is a HUGE Green Bay Packers fan.

Jacob is 12 years old. He is in 7th grade.  Jacob loves puppies!! Jacob is also a sports fan. He plays soccer,  basketball, and baseball. He likes the Chargers .
